Sarah started part-time the first week of 2000, and works from 12:00 to 6:00 M-F.

She has two sons, Boone and Caleb.  Boone is a graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU) in Ft. Worth with a degree in criminal justice.  He is currently serving in the U.S. Army and is based out of Ft. Campbell. 

Caleb is attending Emory University in Atlanta.  Both played Varsity for Dunbar and Premier for Lexington Futbol Club.  

Her husband, Michael, has retired from managing Lexington FC teams, but continues to announce Dunbar soccer games (“the voice of the Bulldogs”).

Sarah is a graduate of Wake Forest University, and has been involved in soccer since 1977 when she and Michael volunteered at the Tri-City YMCA in Florence.  Since then they have been involved in programs in Chattanooga, Dallas, and now in Lexington.

Sarah is the friendly voice at the end of the phone in the state office.  She spends countless hours helping support the member associations, and providing them with the information and materials they need to advance their programs.  She enjoys assisting people across the state, from the veteran volunteer to the brand new affiliate.
