New Logo
LEXINGTON (February 9, 2010) – Kentucky Youth Soccer, known for offering high quality statewide programs for players, coaches and volunteers, introduces its new logo with a fresh, modern design in conjunction with the re-launching of www.kysoccer.net.
“Our new Kentucky Youth Soccer logo design came from the desire to play off the history of the past and current classic Kentucky Youth Soccer logos, while at the same time modernizing its look,” said Kris Zander, Executive Director of Kentucky Youth Soccer. “As we continue to grow as an organization, members can expect to see the new logo more frequently.”
The new image brings together the past and present as Kentucky Youth Soccer celebrates its 30th Anniversary during 2010. Some of the new elements are explained further below:
1) The Red (PMS Color200) is the same color used in the United State Soccer Federation logo (USSF).
2) The Blue (PMS 280) is a holdover from our current logo.
3) Showing history by adding our Established date.
4) The Soccer Ball has been used since 1993.
The original Kentucky Youth Soccer logo was introduced in 1979 and was updated in 1993. The new logo was designed for Kentucky Youth Soccer by US Youth Soccer.
