LEXINGTON (March 5, 2013) — Kentucky Youth Soccer Program Manager and Assistant Director of Coaching Dave McIver has announced his resignation to accept a position as the Men’s Executive Director for the Kings Hammer Soccer Club in Northern Kentucky.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute at Kentucky Youth Soccer, and wish the organization nothing but the best as they move forward,” said Dave McIver, “I leave behind many fantastic memories, many rewarding friendships, and an experience that I will cherish for a lifetime. I would like to thank all of you who have helped me grow personally and professionally during my time with Kentucky Youth Soccer. I will continue to stay involved with Kentucky Youth Soccer in any way I can and will always be an ambassador for the organization. As I close this chapter, I look forward to the challenges that await me as I move forward.”
Dave started with Kentucky Youth Soccer in January of 2000 as a program administrator after a very successful youth playing career at Bon Air Soccer Club in Louisville and collegiate standout at Georgetown College.

McIver will stay at Kentucky Youth Soccer through the spring soccer season and will work through a transition period until his full time employment starts at Kings Hammer Soccer Club in mid-June.
