The US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup is designed for those teams seeking additional challenges to play against teams of similar abilities for the ultimate goal of State,
Regional, and National titles. The cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer.
This competition is designed for teams that generally don't compete with teams in the Midwest Regional League or premier level teams. The President's Cup is for teams that want to compete for a State Championship but not at the highest level of play. Teams have the option to enter either the State Open Cup OR the Presidents Cup, but may not enter both. Teams that compete in the Midwest Regional League (MRL) or National League as well as teams that finished in the top 4 of the previous year’s State Open Cup are not eligible to compete in the Presidents Cup.

Those teams that win the Kentucky Youth Soccer President’s Cup at U13-U17 will advance to a Regional qualifier, known as the US Youth Soccer Region II Presidents Cup. Winners of the U18 Kentucky Youth Soccer Presidents Cup will not advance to the regional event. Winners of the Region II President’s Cup, along with winners of the other 3 regions, will determine the teams competing in the National Presidents Cup and feature boys and girls teams in the Under-14 through Under-17 age groups. The U13 age group will participate in the regional event only.
Kentucky Youth Soccer fully supports this US Youth Soccer event and the additional opportunities it provides our teams to play in regional and national competition.
