Do we have to pay for players in the fall and the spring?
Player fees are annual, so clubs pay for each player one time a year. In the spring, clubs are responsible to pay for any new players.
If a player plays recreational soccer in the fall and then select players in the spring, do we have to pay for them again?
Clubs will need to pay the difference in the between the recreational fee and the select fee in the Spring season.
If a player is multi-rostered to two teams, do we have to pay twice?
No, clubs will only pay one fee. If the player is rostered on a recreational team and a select team, then clubs would pay the select fee for the player.
What does the player fee cover?
U.S. Soccer and US Youth Soccer both receive part of the player fee from the state office to maintain membership to those organizations. Additionally, Kentucky Youth Soccer provides a secondary insurance to all properly registered players. Lastly, Kentucky Youth Soccer provides numerous benefits for players, coaches, and clubs as listed above.
