2019 tour details are as follows:
*ODP players are not required to travel internationally. Participation is strictly optional and no player will be penalized if they do not take the tour. All international tour costs are the same for players and chaperones.

International Soccer Travel
WorldStrides Excel, the nation’s largest and most trusted sports travel provider is pleased to announce its expanded partnership with Kentucky Youth Soccer Association to provide a pro club experience to Germany for the 2002 and 2003 ODP boys and girls teams.
Following a successful England pro club experience to Liverpool FC in 2018, Kentucky Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) will be taking its 2002 and 2003 ODP boys and girls teams to immerse themselves in with one of the world’s most noteworthy professional club, Borussia Dortmund. The trip to Germany will provide each team with the exclusive opportunity to live and train at the professional clubs’ facilities, attend academy seminars, watch a pro club academy training session, and compete against three local teams. The pro club experience at Borussia Dortmund will introduce the teams to a greater passion for soccer by gaining a fully-immersive, behind-the-scenes perspective into how an elite professional club operates.
For Kentucky Youth Soccer Association’s ODP teams, traveling to Germany will also feature the opportunity to take a sightseeing tour of the host city, visit the home stadium of their professional club, and attend a professional match. The tour will provide each participant with the opportunity to see a new worldview of soccer culture and witness the facilities, stadiums, and pitches that have become the settings that have produced some of the world’s most decorated athletes.
“Traveling to a foreign country will give the teams the experience of playing for a professional club in addition to being a great cultural experience," said Adrian Parrish, Technical Director, Kentucky Youth Soccer Association.
“WorldStrides Excel Sports is so excited to provide our newest soccer tour option for the 2002 and 2003 boys and girls ODP teams from Kentucky Youth Soccer Association. Immersing the teams into Borussia Dortmund’s culture will show the players the amount of passion and dedication it takes to reach the highest level of soccer,” said Eric McAleer, Senior Vice President & General Manager, WorldStrides Excel Sports.
