The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The Kentucky American Cup provides recreational youth soccer players an opportunity to experience a high quality statewide tournament in a fun, family-like atmosphere. It fosters stimulation and excitement about soccer in an effort to increase the recreational player’s interest in and love for the game.
Only recreational players registered with the Kentucky Youth Soccer, through an affiliate member recreational league are eligible to participate in the Kentucky American Cup. No select players or all-star teams are allowed. Additionally, any team or player entered in or rostered for State Open, Presidents Cup or Soccer Village Cup are not eligible. When we incorporate programs that create a fun and healthy developmental environment for players while recognizing their participation and excellence, we are investing in a quality future.
With the spring recreational season unknown for many local associations, Kentucky Youth Soccer has made the decision to cancel the Kentucky American Cup scheduled for June 6-7 in Elizabethtown. In the last week, we have been notified by several associations around the state who have cancelled their spring recreational leagues. For those associations not cancelling their spring season, the cancellation of the Kentucky American Cup allows those associations the ability to run local recreational programming in the month of June.
We sincerely hope everyone is healthy and we looking forward to hosting the Commonwealth Cup in November and the Kentucky American Cup in June 2021.
