Innovate to Grow (ITG) Grants

Innovate to Grow (ITG) Grants.

The U.S. Soccer Innovate to Grow (ITG) Grant program is designed to empower member organizations like ours to initiate innovative projects that drive the growth and development of soccer in their communities. Focused on increasing participation, enhancing referee development, and creating safer playing environments, the ITG Grant encourages sustainable progress by supporting programs that address underserved and marginalized populations, invest in the sport’s infrastructure, and foster long-term engagement in soccer. Detailed information on application processes, eligibility criteria, and program themes can be found here, providing a roadmap for potential applicants to participate in this transformative opportunity.

ITG Grant Information

ITG Grant Overview

To be considered, programs must align with one or more of the following program themes:

  • Grow the number of referees and invest in referee mentorship and development
  • Grow participation meaningfully and sustainably
  • Support safe places to play (emphasis on programming; note infrastructure restrictions detailed in program overview)

July 29th, 2024: Application portal opens.

August 25, 2024 (5PM CT): Deadline for submitting your application. Late submissions cannot be considered.

Before you leap into the application process, it’s crucial to note that any member organization wishing to apply must first secure an official endorsement from the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association (KYSA). This endorsement is not just a formality but a requirement set forth by U.S. Soccer to ensure that proposed projects align with both our state and national soccer goals.

For inquiries about obtaining KYSA’s endorsement, please email Kris Zander at kriszander@kysoccer.net
