Kentucky Youth Soccer Association has policies regarding player obligation and club tryouts.  (Sections 4 & 5 on page 12 of the State Rules).

  • Section 4:  Player Obligation – Once a select player signs a club/team registration form, that player becomes bound to that team for one year. The player may not transfer to another club/team unless specified in the transfer polices.
  • Section 5: Club Tryout Policy – Player commitment – Kentucky Youth Soccer will not recognize a player commitment to a club prior to June 15th for any player. Players who wish to be released from a commitment to a club prior to June 15th may be released by the state office without approval from the club. Player wishing to be released after June 15th will need to complete the release form and receive approval from their current club.

This form is to request the transfer of a player from their current club account to a new club account. Both releasing and receiving clubs should sign-off on the transfer. Please note: Restrictions may apply in certain situations and all player transfers are subject to review by Kentucky Youth Soccer.
