Kings Hammer Soccer Club Sent 5 Teams to
Region II Championships
The first year for Kings Hammer Academy was a huge success as the club sent five (5) teams to the US Youth Soccer Region II Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
"It is a tremendous honor to represent your club, your state and your region," Women’s Executive Director Tiffany Roberts said. "Our athletes have worked extremely hard to get to this point and it is exciting to see them achieve goals and capatilize on the opportunities!"
The five (5) teams that went to Iowa where: KHA U13 Boys Red (coached by Kevin McCloskey) lost all 3 games but will build on the experence this fall, KHA U14 Girls Red (coached by Roby Stahl) lost to NSA from Illinois in the Regional Finals, KHA U15 Girls Red (coached by Tiffany Roberts) went 1-1-1 finishing second in their group, KHA U16 Girls Red (coached by Jon Pickup) went 1-2 finishing third in their group, and KHA U17 Girls Red (coached by Tiffany Roberts) went 2-1 and just missed out on advancing to the semifinals.
