LEXINGTON, KY — Kentucky Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 ‘Of the Year’ Awards. These distinguished awards recognize individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Kentucky soccer community, both on and off the field.
This year’s awards spotlight the outstanding efforts of coaches, parents, players, volunteers, and administrators whose dedication and service have significantly impacted soccer throughout the state. The awardees exemplify the spirit of community and commitment that Kentucky Youth Soccer stands for.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who plays a role in nurturing and advancing soccer in our state. Our success as an association is a direct reflection of the hard work and passion of individuals like our award recipients. Volunteer of the Year – Lynda Ison
Administrator of the Year – Jeff Belcher
Recreational Coach of the Year – Joe Hsu
Girls Competitive Coach of the Year – Bryan Smothers
Boys Competitive Coach of the Year – Kevin Aka
TOPSoccer Buddy of the Year – Jordan Williams
TOPSoccer Coach of the Year – Kobe Johnson
Young Female Referee of the Year – Brooke Barnum
Young Male Referee of the Year – Carter Dilbeck
Goal of the Year – Graham Wheatley
Save of the Year – Braden Hendricks
Male Athlete of the Year – Brady Stockton
Female Athlete of the Year – Krystina Kelly
Kentucky Youth Soccer will honor these outstanding individuals at the 2024 ‘Of the Year’ Awards Luncheon, which will take place following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington, KY. This special event is a celebration of their achievements and a thank you for their significant contributions to the sport.
